Teeth Whitening

Bonding is among the easiest and least expensive cosmetic dental procedure. The composite resin used in bonding can be shaped and polished to match the surrounding teeth. Most often, bonding is used for cosmetic purposes to improve the appearance of a discolored or chipped tooth. It also can be used to close spaces between teeth, to make teeth look longer or to change the shape or color of teeth.

Dental lasers emit light that deliver quick pulses of heat energy to the treatment area. Various wavelengths are used depending on the type of tissue being treated. Surgical lasers are more accurate than traditional dental treatments and allow the dentist to conserve as much bone and tooth as possible.

Laser Cavity Detection

A low-powered laser can be used to locate tiny pits within tooth enamel that can become cavities. The laser, called DIAGNOdent®, can detect decay early. Once located, the tiny spots on the tooth can be covered with a clear sealant in order to prevent cavities.

Lasers for the Removal of Decay and Damaged Gums

Lasers can also eliminate the need for the dental drill and reduce patients' fears about treatment. Laser tools such as the Waterlase® system and diode lasers can be used to vaporize decay and treatment is virtually painless, eliminating the need for anesthesia.

Are you looking for a quick, non-invasive way to enhance your smile? Teeth whitening might be the answer.
Universally valued by men and women alike, teeth whitening (or bleaching) treatments are available to satisfy every budget, time frame and temperament. Whether in the form of one-hour bleaching sessions at your dentist's office, or home-use bleaching kits purchased at your local drugstore, teeth whitening solutions abound.

The long and the short of it is that teeth whitening works. Virtually everyone who opts for a teeth whitening solution sees moderate to substantial improvement in the brightness and whiteness of their smile. That said, whitening is not a permanent solution to discoloration and requires maintenance or "touch-ups" for a prolonged effect.

 Cosmetic Bonding

Dental veneers are a form of cosmetic dentistry in which a shell or layer of tooth-colored porcelain or composite is placed over the facial surfaces of your teeth to correct worn tooth enamel, uneven tooth alignment or spacing, discoloration and chips or cracks.

Although dental veneers fall into the category of cosmetic dentistry because they create bright, white smiles with beautifully aligned, shapely teeth, they also protect the surface of damaged teeth and may eliminate the need for more extensive treatments. Other benefits of veneers include durability, an improved smile appearance, and the need for little-to-no removal of tooth structure compared to crowns.
